Employment Law

Peter represents executives, professionals, and businesses in employment disputes, on both sides of the table, with a particular focus on non-competes and restrictive covenants. Having acted for employers and for employees, he knows how the other side values a case and uses it to find leverage where it is not obvious.

Restrictive Covenants

Peter's core employment focus, handled across the full arc. Before you sign, he reviews and negotiates the employment agreement and its non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidentiality terms; before a move, he assesses what you actually owe a current employer; and after a departure, he litigates these agreements on either side, challenging overbroad covenants and enforcing the legitimate ones.

Executive Severance and Forced Exits

Senior executives and professionals pushed out and handed a lowball severance. Peter finds the leverage that moves the employer well past its opening offer, frequently without filing suit.

Discrimination, Harassment, and Wrongful Termination

Representing both employers and individuals in bias, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful-termination matters, whether they land in court, before an agency, or in arbitration.
